I think that girls do deserve to be treated like princesses as well as guys being treated like a prince. The most important thing is that there's honesty and trust in any kind of relationship. Guys and girls both needed to be treated with respect.

A princess:
+ dances gracefully
+ wears an extravagant flowing dress
+ long neck, high breasts, tiny waist, long legs
+ sweet or melodic voice
+ quiet, not outspoken, doesn't crack jokes or complain
+ is a victim of evil circumstances who never does a bad thing
+ can only meet with a happy ending when the prince is attained
+ requires rescue from a prince
+ longs for a traditional romance
+ is either born rich, or ends up rich
+ is fair-skinned white
+ is nurturant to animals or children
I don't want to be treated like a princess.
I want to be treated like a partner.
Being treated "like a princess" makes me feel girly.
But I like feeling strong, empowered, and independent more than I like feeling girly and cute.
And for me, happiness isn't from being treated like a princess.
Happiness would be going to see Africa.
Happiness would be getting my PhD.
Happiness would be supporting the AIDS cause.
Happiness is not being a princess.
For me.

What makes you think that you should be treated like a princess. Guys don't think they should be treated like a prince.
It's fun and cute, when a girl is under say the age of six, and her daddy, treats her that way.
But to expect anyone else to do it for her, is the height of egotism, and narcissism.
Get real, and join the rest of the human race.

sure, but theres got to be some reality to it. princess is relative to the girl. so hence, being treated like a princess could mean being loved honestly and being kept entertained, or it could mean being catered to at all times. we should go with the more compromising one. either way, both should be appreciated and not taken for granted. and the girl can do one or two things to treat the guy like a prince...theres nothing wrong with paying for his movie ticket, jus as long as he doesnt get too dependent :)

First define how you think a "princess" should be treated. I'd be willing to bet most real royalty would disagree with your definition.
