Sorry, babe, but punk is dead. If you want a good punk band, you want to look a little further back in time. Check out The Descendents, The Dead Kennedys, The Bouncing Souls or Pennywise (older stuff).
By the way, Good Charlotte is not punk.

WOW those people saying that all american rejects, good charlotte, green day, relient k and all the other bands are true "punk" are delusional...... there is not really any real punk bands in this millennium.... try looking back a decade or so...

sorry, all this new stuff considered "punk" isn't even close. Go back to Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Clash, Sex Pistols if you want true punk. While I do like some of the new stuff, it surely isn't punk.

Green Day, they have been out for many generations, but i would still credit them for this generation, they are punk rock but some of their songs are punk.
i heard Green Day on the radio but my sister got me into them really.
