Well I live in a ghetto community and I want to change my image. I hate looking like a "thug" its too ho'ish. So i changed my image this summer to an emo/punk look.Do you think it will change my friendship with my thug friends?

Well you should certainly be prepared to not fit in anymore, but if they are your true friends they will accept you no matter what your clothes or hair look like. If they don't accept you then make some new friends. You don't need friends like that anyway.
P.S. it might be a little better if you saw your friends one at a time so they don't feel pressured to tease you if someone decides to take that route.

If they are your friends, then they may be a little weirded out, but love you for who you are and accept that their little chica is now a emo punka. Make sure this is not just an image thing and that you like the music and everything that goes with it. You don't want your friends or anyone else calling you a fake. Take it from a someone who has had many stages. You can go through it all, just as long as it's who you truly are. And if it's not, then watch out for those punks, because they don't like posers. i think that how ever you want to be its really ok,why do you have to care what your friends think or what anybody thinks,Its really ok if you want to go punk or a thug or what ever,Just feel happy the way you are.

I dunno..maybe...but being your self is a lot better than trying to be liked by others..you should express your self first and overeating will follows...
