This is where the imagery used in the video becomes very relevant. Although the lyrics of the song concentrate on the relationship between death, memory and immortality, the promo video seems to present another option in the search for longevity. The Miss Murder character appears about halfway through the video, carrying a black rabbit; she sets the rabbit down on the floor, and when the camera next cuts back to the floor, there are about a dozen black rabbits sitting there. Rabbits are a well-known symbol of fecundity in western culture, so I'm not suprised to find an image of a rabbit rapidly "multiplying" - but the rabbit was on its own, and has managed somehow, magically, to reproduce without a mate. I would interpret this asexual, self-replicating little bunny as a symbol of the most prominent non-sexual means of founding a lineage - cultural inheritance.

I think it must symbolize something, it´s also on the cover of their cd. I see it as beautiful irony, bunnies are supposed to be cute and cuddly, and the first thing that comes to mind is a white bunny. Black is usually asociated with something more sublime and subtle. I think it´s beautiful.
