Make a paste out of the Oxyclean powder, rub it into the stain and then wash in cold water with your regular detergent and a small amount of Lestoil; which is another excellent stain and grease remover. Do not put your skirt in an automatic dryer until you are positive that the stain is completely gone, as the heat will set the stain and it will be impossible to remove. You can try this procedure a couple of times. It is best for white fabrics as it does not leave any residue. Rit and Carbona companies also have rust remover formulas, you can find them in the laundry supply aisle. They tend to have more of a chemical base which may damage the fabric, so definitely try the Oxyclean first. If you do need to try either the Rit or the Carbona, test a bit of them inside on a seam, or inside on the hem, to make sure it will not damage the fabric. Good luck and have a good night!

Try rubbing alcohol or shaving cream, lemon juice ect.. There are stain removers that work in stores also. Oxiclean should do it.
If it was grease you could use fresh cat litter and that stuff removes grease and oil like crazy as it really is an absorbent clay for oils.

Moist the spot with water, then put some tide detergent on it. Let it sit for a while and then wash with bleach.
