I just got in a wreck TODAY :S with my 92 Honda Accord EX. Basically the engine parts are ok, including the radiator. I am just wondering how much ON AVERAGE it should cost to replace the HOOD and FRONT BUMPER.

My wife recently got into a wreck with her 2002 honda Civic a little newer yes but just to give you an idea it didn't look bad fjust by looking at it the front bumper was busted and the hood needed replaced. she got an estimate that was a little over 2,000 including the labor but during the course of them taking apart everything they ended up finding another 1000 dollars worth of damage. The hood alone was about 400 but along with labor and paint it ended up being about 7 or 8 but being a 92 it might be somewhat less but then it may take longer for a body shop to fix because they would have to order the older model parts. hopefully you have insurace because out of the 3000 dollars we only had to pay 500 of it.

The parts alone will be anywhere from $400-$800. The labor to put them on by a body shop will be around $65-$75 per hour.

It all depends on if the shop gets new parts from Honda, or if they get old parts. Then, you have to add paint time and materials. Depending on how bad the hood and bumper are, they may be able to repair them instead of replace them. Good luck!

Wow. You be better off getting a different vehicle. This is your chance to buy a car you may have wanted for awhile. Or have a change in vehicles for the fun of it.

Honda's are great cars... you hardly ever need to replace anything. But when you do it is usually kind of expensive.
