Yes, but it's usually kind of hard to spread. You need to get the water from your eye to get in contact with the other persons eye. Like if she rubbed her eye then touched something that went near your eye. Or if you shared any kind of eye product like mascara or eye liner (which you should never do, even when your eyes are fine). Spreading stys is usually pretty uncommon, but possible.
Pink eye is contagious the same way (a little bit more so because the bacteria is stronger) but isn't the same thing as a sty. I'm not sure what you mean by a pimple though... Normally the eyelid just swells up and you can get some medicated eye drops from any eye doctor and it will go away in a couple days. Pink eye makes the white of your eye(s) pink, a sty doesn't change the color of anything, your eyelid just swells. Use ice if you need to, but wrap it in something, don't put it directly on the eye area.
I've had several stys because I would always sleep with eye make-up on, then it would build up underneath my eyelid and cause an infection. I started being very consistent with cleaning off all my make-up before bed and haven't had any problems since then. Each time I did have one, I just went to my eye doctor for eyedrops and it was gone within 2 days. But if I had rubbed my eye a lot and gotten some of the bacteria on my pillow or something, if anyone laid on that pillow, they would be at risk for catching it. But it's still pretty unlikely. In the meantime, don't touch your eye, keep your hands clean, if you normally wear contacts -don't wear them until it clears up, and talk to your doctor. It's nothing major, but if left untreated and gets worse, it could damage your vision, so keep an eye on it (no pun intended).

RE:
Is an eye sty contagious ?
My best friend and I both seem to have a sty. She said her ex husband had pink eye but this is like a pimple (painful) and has come to a head .

pink eye is VERY contagious - if your friend's ex had it and now she has symptoms, she needs to head to the doctor or eye doctor for treatment (unless she wasn't anywhere around him while he had it - then she probably has an unrelated eye problem). A stye itself is usually not contagious, but it depends on the cause. Sometimes doctors will treat it with an antibiotic ointment for the eye. If you notice it gets worse (redder, more painful with increased drainage) call your doc. usually the discomfort can be relieved with a warm washcloth compress to help the absess drain. To be on the safe side, wash your hands frequently, especially before and after touching around your eye, and do not share eyeglasses, mascara or towels with others until it's gone.
