I used to have a Game Boy Advance...I have no idea where it went, though. =P It disappeared into the black hole of my room, along with all my favorite games. I've never owned a Playstation or anything like that, just Game Boys, but I'll keep an open mind.
So: what is a good console, handheld or not, for me to buy? I'm a teenager, and have usually been more into role playing games, but I like a lot of different things. Except for those kind of mindless gory games, or ones related to cars. x_x

If you want a handheld I'd go for the PSP. The graphics are as good as a PS2 on some games and it has a lot of games available for it, including a lot of classic games that were available for the PS and PS2. In addition it can play movies using UMDs so it has uses beyond just playing games.
If you want a console, get an XBOX 360 Premium Edition. It has amazing graphics, great games that are out now, XBOX Live and a great pipeline for games that are coming out soon. If you like RPGs I'd highly recommend Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. It's an extremely detailed RPG with incredible amounts of character customization and about 300 or so hours of gameplay if you try and do everything.

A x-box 360 Its cheap. Halo 3 is coming soon and its has great graphics... If you don't like shooting games get a nintendo wii Ps3 is a mix. Though you should get a x-box 360. I have one. If your not willing to play 5 bucks a month for x-box live don't get the 360 if you don't get live ther's no point. Ps3 I wouldn't get do to the price. Wii is motion deteced and thats cool. Or a nice PSP is cool. If you are smart get A x-box 360 and X-box live. I hope this helps you decide!

Best go with the sony playstation 2. I own one. Maybe u should wait for the PS3 if u really want something new. Most of the good games with nice storylines come for the playstation.
Also the graphics a realistic for most games.

It's nice to see that girls are now getting involved in the game world lol I would say it will come between xbox consoles like 360 and playstation like ps2 or ps3. They both have excellent gaming experiences

I recommend a Nintendo-DS lite. They are so much fun!
Nintendo-Wii will be an awesome console. You must get one! I am not sure when it will be released.
Nintendo are always no.1 in my books. Top graphics, great game play and they have never let me down.........unlike sony ps2.... biggest disappointment ever!
I am not sure what Rockster Rancher means by ''It's nice to see that girls are now getting involved in the game world''...... Game girls are nothing new.....I know many other females like me that have been playing games for over 12 years.

You should wait for the Nintendo Wii. I heard it is going to be really fun. It seems like it's gonna be really easy to use since it doesn't have a lot of buttons. It also has motion sensors, so you could move around. It's rumored to be a lot cheaper than PS3 or 360, only around $200.

I would personly go with the PS2 because it has more varity, but if you are like me that loves shooters and violent stuff go with the Xbox. If your into cute nice games i would sugest the Gamecube
