im Latina and im glad miss puerto rico won since shes latina, but i would have liked bolivia to win, she was gorgeous, or Paraguay, so beautiful. Im dominican and im disappointed that they picked mia taveras, she wasn't the prettiest girl out there. and she had her nose done, dont like that. not for a miss universe. I liked Japan too. I preferred her over puerto Rico, the judges should give reasons on why they choose someone because i dont know why they picked miss puerto rico if there were better answers. and more beautiful girls.

She kind of has a Michael Jackson thing going on with her nose...I am Puerto Rican and my nose is normal.....All I have to say is another win!!

Am I the only one who thinks Miss Universe 2004 and 2005 is a thousand times hotters than this weird Miss Universe?
I knew it was nearly impossible to have a contestant who looks better than Natalie this year but there were many contestant who looks better than Puerto Rico.
Switzerland, USA, Japan, Mexico, Australia is way better than Puerto Rico in physical department.

Personally i dont think she was the best choice, didnt think she was the prettiest one either. And judging from the pic in the link, it does look like she has had some work done. But im all up for the latinas winning!

The Miss USA/ Miss Universe allows plastic surgery...Miss America does not. Miss USA/ Universe does not require a talent Miss America does.

miss universe allows cosmetic / plastic surgery so i wouldn't be surprised. unlike miss america, where that's a no-no.
i think miss japan should have won. she had that sweet samurai/sword/dominatrix outfit that won best country costume or something like that.

i couldn't agree with you more! and her lips were to big...they were like blown up...they looked really fake...she probably had lip injections or something.
