My computer won't boot. When powered on it doesn't beep, the optical drives just spin and it won't POST.

Did you try sticking in a boot disk or sticking in XP disk - you may have corrupted files. Of course, you could have a trashed drive.

Make sure you don't have a disk in the Cd rom. Some will not allow it to post.
