What do you think of their new head coach, Dunga? He was chosen to be the head coach on Sunday. He was an excellent player and captain, but he doesn't have any coaching experience. Just because a player was good doesn't mean he will make a good coach.

However, I am 100% positive he will be better than CARLOS ALBERTO PARREIRA (the 2006 World Cup coach).

I just wanted to know your opinion on the new coach selection. I'm hoping 2010 will be Brasil's turn to regain their glory.

Oh, and in case you haven't noticed...I absolutely despise PARREIRA! Worst coach EVER!

It's only "brazilian" to Americans. I am BRASILIAN, so I speak Portuguese, thank you very much.

I know it's not Parreira's fault (entirely) but he made some pretty stupid decisions in the France match, you must admit that. Why in the hell would he wait until the last 9 minutes of the game to put Robinho in? He needed to have started that boy. Same with Adriano..why bench the second-highest goal scoring player (for Brasil) in the quarter final? I'm also pissed that Parreira promised to bring home the cup. Don't promise if you can't deliver! Parreira should have kept his damn mouth shut and not have been so confident. Yes, he had faith in his players and that's great but no need to boast. Parreira played to "not lose" a.k.a. on the defensive. Luis Felipe Scolari (coach in 2002) played "to win" a.k.a. on the offensive. Trust me, it makes a BIG DIFFERENCE! Felipao was always on the sidelines of the game, cheering his team on. What was Parreira doing? Sitting on the bench the whole time looking at his watch waiting for the game to be over. The least he could've done was shown support

I think CBF took the right step by appointing Dunga as Brasil's coach. To win the WC back agian in 2010, this was an extremely positive move. he does not ahve the experience but he was one of Brasil's greatest midfielders and I am sure he can bring in quality and class that was lacking a bit in the last world cup. Dunga should be given full support from the fans as it will bolster his confidence which he needs most. I have faith in Dunga and I hope he can inject the traditional Brasilian style of fooball into the team back again and 2010 will be ours!!!

I like the appointment. Especially at this time. At least they have a little time to look how things go before heading into a World Cup tournament with him.

Dunga also proved in his playing days that he could take plenty of criticism and adapt, improve and come back stronger. I think that is an extremely good characteristic to have in trying to manage a team of such immense talent. Someone who can instill the necessary motivation into players to get the talent to gel and work for each other.

Dunga will fail as a coach...he lacks experience as a coach its one of those players turned coaches that won't succeed...as a player he might have been good but as a coach he wont cut it especially when alot of the current players wont be there in 2010.

Don't worry about coaches. Players are the ones that win games. Why do you blame Parreira? Nobody could do better with the mediocre players he had, including Ronaldinho. If Brazil develop players like Romario, etc, Brazil could win even without a coach.

every one deserves a fair chance, don't judge the guy just yet, lets see how he performs then we can discuss it. i also wouldn't be so rash to judge Parreira either. he is a good coach. i have said it before, it was a team effort, can't blame any one really. gotta blame the entire team.
