i go to the gym twice a day one hour each time. I use mainly the treadmill and stairmaster. What happens over time if I dont do any arm exercises or lift weights? Will my arms get flabby? I am a 35yr old woman and trying to get back into shape.

Your arms may get flabby, they definitely won't get toned. I'd introduce some weight exercices to your routine, it'll make you look tight.

Well, the treadmill and stairmaster (that's major willpower, I usually go for the ellipticals or the bikes!) are awesome for your circulation and your legs, but your arms follow the old "use it or lose it". You don't have to do that much, just a little bit of weightlifting with your arms (I also do chest, back, and stomach for good measure) and you'll be in great shape. :)

Your arms like the rest of you needs exercise too. Not doing them means that not only your arms aren't getting exercised, but your back muscles as well, and neither are your torso muscles. The only ones that are getting exercised are your legs, and the buttocks. It will be helpfull to incorporate some exercises for your back, and your arms as well as your chest.

Look for a machine that does seated rows for starters. That will exercise your back and your bicepts. Also look for a machine that will work on your chest/tricepts. With those exercises incorporated into your routine you'll be getting back into shape in no time.
