LEGAL
If 2 guys or 2 women can become legally married, then there is the possibility of that opening the door to people who are looking to "fake" a marriage for tax advantages, healthcare coverage, taking advantage of inheritance, social security benefits, medicare benefits and disability benefits. All it takes is for someone getting ready to die has to "fake" getting married to another guy and he would receive all his social security benefits for being his spouse. If people in this country are willing to take advantage of September 11 victims they will definetely take advantage of this sort of loop hole that would be created by legalizing gay marriage. Sure this sort of abuse can take place with heterosexual marriages but increasing the breadth of this would only further hurt social programs and tax revenue for the country.
Sorry that wasn't one word, but I had to explain.

Moral.
I don't know why I should be forced to change a definition of something sacred, that has been defined a certain way for thousands of years. We all now what a marriage is, it has always been between a Man and a Woman. Being politically correct has no place, when you are talking about redefining marriage. What is really being asked, is for people to redefine something that everyone already knows and recognizes as a marriage, to appease a very small amount of the population. It offends me to have people tr to ram their views down the publics throats. They try to say the rest of us are unyielding, when in reality, they are the ones that are not willing to accept that not everyone agrees with them.

I am proud to say I am a fiscal Republican and support gay marriage. All you Bible thumpin paranoid freaks need to move aside. What makes YOUR morality moral? I find it immoral.
Most of you are prbably just homophobes and secretly dream of gay sex.
I am straight and not the most open minded, and admit, I make fun of gay people at times. BUT I know I have no right to tell people who they can love or be partnered with, in a legal binding way.
I know you wanted answers from people against gay marriage, so I apologize. But ignorance makes me sick. Hatred in the name of religion makes me sick. Free your minds.

I will be honest. I believe that if they want to be married then let them get married. It doesn't mean I'm for or against. But I've got bigger things to think and worry about then who marries who. I don't have a problem with it. I have a right to not to choose this for myself, and like this I don't want it or religion shoved in my face. (I'm free to make up my own mind how I want to live, not how someone thinks I should live) To each his/her own. People know whats right and whats wrong, and whats moral and whats not. Everyone is responsible for their own life/fate. This is a free country (or at least I thought it was)

Marriage is a biblical moral bond between a man and a woman.
By law, marriage is a civil contract between a man and a woman.
After all when God created humans...it was MAN and WOMAN and the command was be fruitful and multiply.
Man& Man / Woman&Woman can not be fruitful in their union.
