Fantasy sports make watching sports better.
Well I am not sure about baseball or basketball, i only like Football..
however, i am usually able to catch one Game a week during the season so when I play, it gives me something to root for when I dont like the teams playing.
Just like betting on games but instead it is players!
I dont even know what the hell magic the gathering is!

I can't speak about the Magic players, since I don't know any and have never played it. But fantasy sports isn't just for geeks-- every office I've ever been in has one or two fantasy football leagues going. It's everywhere.
Anyway, I hope it makes you feel like a big man to insult people that you don't know who are having some harmless fun.

Magic the Gathering. Even the dopiest fantasy sports geek probably has or does play sports and actually gets some sun and fresh air.

Magic the Gathering. Especially if they are over the age of 15.
Even pro athletes play fantasy sports, and the way they pull chicks, good luck calling them "geeks."

yeah .. I'd have to go with Magic the gathering .. I mean unless you're on the computor doing Fantasy stuff non-stop .. but most people just do it once or twice a week for 15-30 minutes while they're at work or something .. think about it , its okay if you 30 and play Fantasy Sports with your buddys.. but if you're 30 and you play Magic with you're friends .. you're a loser ..

I'm a big sport fan, and have played fantasy sports for years but I'll be the first to admit it's very dorky. But it makes me happy and I'm sure Magic fans feel the same way, and that's what really matters.
It's kinda like asking who the bigger nerds are Star Trek fans or Star Wars fans. Either way you're still a nerd. (I should know, I'm a Star Wars fan too.)

MAGIC THE GATHERING. Those dudes are complete DORKS!!! Theyre into dungeons and dragons and yu-gi oh give me break man. its not even a debate. Fantasy sports you have to have a knowledge of that particular sport, and last time I checked knowledge of sports is not geaky. DOUCHE BAG

fantasy players arent for dorks. u gotta watch a lot of sports to know all about it and be good. so if your calling them dorks, shut up now. magic players are huge dorks
