I hear voices sometimes and they are sometimes very clear. I know I'm not crazy.God himself,Creator of thoughts and voices,is possibly trying to talk with me? Not crazy;very philosophical and open-minded,not religious and I have tons of common sense.Where do voices come from besides your own thoughts? Maybe I am in a constant state of meditation?

God, there is no Schizophrenia! it is just a label for people whom have a very special gift and plan from God as the same for every single person and thing in this world! Everyone is special in their own ways. Just believe in God. I have them too and ETC. was on Risperdal and Seroquel but got myself off as well as gave up therapy sessions and a great wonderful doctor who cares tremendously, knowing and believing that God has something very important for me to do.

What are these voices saying and what do they sound like?
In some cases, people with this disorder tend to talk to themselves. They will hear voices that appear as if they were coming from God&they are of a higher being, like they are the "chosen one" & are constantly being told they are GREAT, etc. Other times, there maybe devilish noises, telling them to do bad things, scary noises. Some voices are very negative&are constantly saying terrible things about the person with Schizophrenia like they're a piece of sh!t.

Not all people with Schizophrenia are harmful.

But if it's difficult to concentrate and you hear these things, you def. have it.

I'm not a neuropsychologist so this is just a wild guess, but I think they 'come from' the same place as dream images. It may be stray patterns of thought not connected to your conscious awareness which are manifesting as 'voices.' Listen to them, if at all, with the same caution as you would any other voice; even a 'normal' mind is capable of highly bizarre - and potentially dangerous - impulses without a rational consciousness to govern them.

I will tell you right now that those voices are not God. They could possibly be demons who can appear to be impostors of God. I'm not telling you to be exorcised or anything like that. But I do believe that mental illness just like all other illnesses are caused by the fallen state of humankind, and that Satan is the root cause for illness and disease on this planet. Please go talk to a professional, not yahoo.

These are called "auditory hallucinations" and the person who related them to dreams was right.

They are produced by your own brain (unless it's the acoustics of the place where you hear them, and you are hearing real people). There can be lots of reason for these, and it would be good to share them with a medical expert.

They might be a sign of stroke.

What makes you think you are not crazy? Hearing voices is not really a sign of healthy.

Get thee self to shrink. Do not pass go, do not collect 200$.

ok, you know how sometimes we do things subconsiously? part of our brain has to be functioning, but we're not really aware of it... that's sort of how schoizophrinia works: parts of the brain turn off or become hyperactive to communicate with your concious mind..
hope i didn't disapoint you but, any voices you hear are your own thoughts... hope this helped!
