since we're already punishing france for their treachery and trying to steal our oil, let's just settle this once and for all and call them dutch fries. it was the dutch taht invented fries after all. and since they are also helping us tremendously in the war on terror, not just iwth the war but also in intelligence, let's throw them a little well earned recognition. it would be a great gesture by congress too as a sign that america is reaching out to those countries that have stood by us in our time of need

They are french fries. They have always been french fries. They
will always be french fries. That "freedom fries" thing is stupid,
and calling them dutch fries isn't an improvement. It's just a name
anyway,and do you really think the French care what we call our
fast food?

Are the dutch free though? They have to be free before claiming freedom on dutchmans. Hey, they've got dutchmans, ya know, the snipping things that cut sheetmetal, I bet you could special order them in yellow, but I doubt you could eat them.
