I always wonder why a parent would take a 8 year old to an NFL game to see short skirted women, hear a bunch use curse words and see people drink beer. Seems kinda stupid. Some stadiums actually have family sections. I thought that was in the living room.
Football is rough...it's never suppose to be quiet...you don't drink coffee at a football game...you don't drink beer in church...you don't bring kids to football games!!!!!!!!

What I am mad about is parents who complain about the roudiness of NFL football. They are the ones who are trying to stop beer sales at all sporting events. What I am saying is if you don't like the curse words and the beer drinking.........watch it on T.V.

Do you kid really need to hear "Throw the mothersuckin ball". Or perhaps they should constantly be exposed to "f that mothersucker" or the ever enchanting crowd pleasing 50,000 person chant of "bullshish!bullshish! Or maybe you want them to see that chicks boobs who keeps showing her stuff during touchdowns!

It doesn't make sense, does it?? I wonder how many kids were there when they booed Santa many years ago in Philadelphia. It makes about as much sense as parents taking the kids to R movies just so they can go see them and don't get a baby sitter...then they wonder why the kid is bored or unhappy throughout the whole movie and why he/she won't be quiet. Duh!

I have played soccer for the past 18 years of my life (5-23). I played as a kid, played in high school, and played on scholarship in college. I can honestly tell you that one of the many things I appreciate the most about my parents was their enthusiasm and encouragement when it cam to my soccer career. Even as a 5 year old they came and cheered at every game. Yeah, 5 year olds playing soccer is probably not the most interesting thing in the world, but they were there because they love me. I think that not watching your child play soccer is sending her the message that it is not important to you. You may have no idea how much it is truly affecting her as she sees all the other kids mom's cheering and praising their children as you drive off and leave her to go get boozed up. I'm not saying I think you don't care about your child, but I am saying that small minds pick up on these things and it very well might cause some kind of complex for your daughter. At the least it might make her quit doing something she loves because she gets the me3ssage from her mom that is in not even important enough to watch. I say suck it up. Go to her games, cheer for her, support her. ACT like you like it. She will truly appreciate it someday.

Because if I'm dropping a rent payment on tix, I think it's a reasonable expectation that my family not be exposed to drunken cretins who believe that thier slobbering grunts actually might affect the outcome of the game.
If you can't cheer without being a douchebag, you shouldn't be out in public anyway.

Well don't worry about everyone else. If you don't want your kids, if you have any, to see that behavior, than watch it at home.
