my yahoo email is running slow or hangs up when i try to delete. bulk freezes. temp files, cookies deleted?

i have run windows defender, norton clean sweep, and optimized my hard drive....

any thoughts...

any at all.

the problem may be that yahoo servers are not adequate--the elepahant in the room

keep in mind that yahoo's not perfect - sometimes they have problems with their mail server. You don't say if you're on dial-up or not - that can be a problem. Also, if you're running Norton, it can really bog your machine down - especially if it's a newer version. I took mine off because it slowed it down so bad. Now I use the one that roadrunner gives me and it's so much faster.
