In my opinion Humphrey Bogart and Ingar Bergman from Casablanca were the best, but there's also Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and don't forget Bogie and Lauren Bacall.
But silver screen duos in this case does not have to mean just romantic pairings. Let's not forget Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello, Paul Newman and Robert Redford in The Sting or Bob Hope and Bing Crosby in their Road pictures.
