Country's actually pretty good if you listen to it...and some of the song's are getting pretty rocky and only considered country because of the singer (And before some other country fan disses this - this is my opinion and yes I'm a country fan.)
As for other than country bands:
Backstreet Boys (But I think I'm the only one who likes them)
3 Doors Down (Particularly the song "Kryptonite")
