I’ve been a rep on and off for about 3 years. It is HARD to make real money with Avon because there are reps EVERYWHERE. I’m not saying that it can’t be done. I like selling the products…or more truthfully, I like the discount that I get. I sell just enough to get everything I want for free. The key to making money with Avon is to recruit. I don’t have the time to recruit (work full-time), plus you have to keep personal sales (approx. $500 a month) to keep those that you do recruit in your downline. It’s very hard work. So, I just sell Avon for fun.

I don't know about Avon, but I'm a Beauticontrol consultant and in August and September they are having a promotion in which you can become a consultant for only $99. You get about $250 in product and all product is full size. I'm averaging about $300 to $500 a month working about 10 hours a week. With any business or job, it all depends on how much you put into it. If you make it your full time job and go the extra mile, then you will make a decent income. You have to be able to approach people, you have to have confidence in what you are doing, you need to be willing to accept a certain amount of rejection.
If you think you might be interested go to my web page
beautipage.com/sacevedo
You can then find a consultant in your area to work with or I can guide you through the process. If you click on the area at the bottom of page that says "$179 Make A Life Changing Escape", you will find out more and you will also see a place in which you can contact me directly through e-mail. This month the joining fee is $179, but most of the time it's $250. But like I said in August and September the fee will be $99.
I have had many people join just to get the kit for $99. It includes all of their best selling products and a set of makeup.
I can give you more details if you contact me through the web page.
Good Luck!!!

I'm not but one of my really good friends is. She gets a certain percentage of what she sells and bargains galore. She gets her own Little book with s*hit for like a dollar and what not. She quit once already because it does get stressful when people order and do not pay. Sometimes there are mix ups and people get upset. You gotta deliver to everybody. It's not as easy as it seems. It's actual work.

I was for about 3 years. I think the company sucks. I like their products but the customer service sucked and they would back order products all the time.(I would be unaware of that until my order came in) The "pay" wasn't enough to justify all the headache I had to deal with. I don't like to be negative this was just my experience.

I am an Avon Rep. I love the products, and buy many for myself. The only think I didn't care for was trying to get answers to the many questions I had starting out. I would call a number, and they would direct me elsewhere, and this would continue until I figured it out myself. If anyone on here would like to buy Avon or become a Rep feel free to contact me, and I can help you out! www.youravon.com/ssmigielski
