Only when used in a offensive manner, though hardly anybody today would even know what that word means. I'm proud to be a Mulatto, and wouldn't change a thing.

I think the term is used in Brazil. More often than not, I think the term is used in an offensive way, but it means someone who is biracial.

It shouldn't be.
MULATTO is the term to indicate the racial mixture between Black and White.
The mix between Black and Indian (native American) is SAMBO.
The mix between White and Indian is called MESTIZO.

it's not to me.
I use mulatto instead of biracial because biracial can mean any mix.
