The last two presidential elections. We'd have the rightful president - Al Gore - in office in 2000 and he would have probably gotten re-elected in 2004. Thus, we'd be spared the spectre of watching this once great country being taken down the tubes by the imbecile from Texas, Shrub.

Change the political structure for starters.Give the power back to the people. Eliminate wasteful spending by our governent. Change the financial structure and build more oil refineries so gas could once again be 1.49 a gallon. Eliminate corruption and get rid of Bush.

I'd change to a government more similar to parliamentary and I'd insure that elections periods were very brief with serious limitations on advertising and more focus on free and open debates broadcast on public television and radio
