Well if it wasn't for someone like Newton to foster Einstein's ideas, I guess it would have to be Newton.

Even both were not existed before there are some people who can propose the same theories like these folks. In newton time there is a scientist who proposed the theory of some ohyscis thing and newton taken the claim of its honour as he proposed that theory before the scientist had made. This a good fight between two physcists in that time and even the einstein if not there then defintely poincare would proposed that theory of relativity and max planck is always capable of proposing the phototelectric effect from this quantum theory. But for this question even newton laid that path to einstein`s thought newton`s thinking and imagination is limited that of einstein`s and einstein made the brave posulate that no physcist had ever day dreamed of it!i give the word

" Einstein"!

No way it is Newton! All his 'new' ideas are the work of previous scientists. He just documented them. Whilst Einstein created new knowledge In a time when all knowledge was thought to have been acquired by humans

Well I say Newton
b coz without newton Einstein would have never thought of his ideas of relativity and same for all other scientists. because he invented calcus which is used in modern physics.

Both right. I am heartily tired of hearing that "Newton was wrong". Newton was and is correct for the frame of references he was measuring. Same goes for Einstein.

See .... it all depends

Newton. Among other things, he invented Calculus - without which modern physics would not be possible.
