A male friend of mine who was cute, but yes, a little dorky, changed his image a few years ago.

He had nice brown eyes and wore fairly crummy glasses. He got green contact lenses and his eyes looked amazing. He had shaggy dark hair that was unstyled: he got it cut quite short, and paid for a proper hairdresser. He was just the tiniest little bit plump and out of shape with poor posture. He joined a gym, and in three months he was trimmer, more muscular, and looked taller because he was standing up straight. He ditched the baggy tee-shirts, flannel shirt and track pants and bought some really sharp cool clothes.

I didn't see him for a few months, and when we went out for lunch together, I thought WOW! I'd always thought he was cute and sweet and smart, and now he was totally hot as well.

I ran into a group of female friends and they ALL asked me for his phone number! Of course, it was a waste of time because naturally it turned out he was gay, and that's why he'd made all these changes.

It can definitely be done with a little effort and spending a bit of money. If you are really stuck, go to an image consultant; my sister did this and it literally changed her life. They can help you select a style that suits your looks and personality.

Good on you for making an effort; so few guys do.

A number of years ago I "fixed up" my best friend's fiance. First of all I went with him to get a nice, fashionable hair cut. You can look at magazines to get some ideas.

Next we went clothes shopping. Got him out of his sloppy jeans and t-shirt and into some nice black jeans and a button down shirt with a cool print. (NOT A SUIT TYPE SHIRT!) You can also do a colored tee under an open print shirt.

I helped him pick out a nice cologne and some new shoes then took him to get his ear pierced.

You wouldn't believe this was the same guy. He was so proud of his new look and I really think it gave him more confidence.

Don't forget to make some changes on the inside as well. Read a book written by Tony Robbins. Make sure you are up on your manners. Open doors, don't talk with your mouth full, carry mints and above all treat her like a lady.

Good luck!!!

For starters you could take a "dale carnegie course" if possible. This is one of the best course for creating confidence in people.
Not just in business but yourself.
Confidence is the starter for success in anything. Than you must decide that you are worth it, and committ to the change.
Regardless of what pros and cons say women are intersted in a person who is successful or on his way. With a great attitude confidence brings you can give and earn this profile in everyones mind and go from there. To days women like are as into success as men and they seek not only men for sexual partners but as equal sex partners in life as well as the bed.

Geez, why is it women want to make men over like some kind of mud puppy? Is this *charity* work, or do you have a motive?

If you're his friend and he really needs a clue, you might *buy* him something cool and go "You look great in that!" But if he needs a serious makeover, maybe you just need to look elsewhere.

Maybe he's *happy* being what you think is a "dork". Are you going to make him unhappy?

Oh, this is YOU!!! Oh then, never mind, you're not a dork. You just need some self-respect.

One way to quit being dorky is to be yourself and stop caring what other people think. We woman respond to very secure men. Men who are sure of who they are and don't bend to dorky rules.
Another way is to get a really good haircut. Go to a salon and tell the stylist to pick your style for you. Be open to their suggestions.
Be yourself, look people straight in the eye when your talking to them and never be intimidated by other people.
Good luck!

The definitions of "dorky" and "hot" vary from person to person. Just be yourself and treat women with respect and you should be fine.

Confidence is always sexy. Maybe some nice clothes and a nice cologne. Make sure not to over do it with the cologne though, that's a turn off.
