this guy is one of my best friends! and i have always kinda had a crush on him. but since this summer, i have realized that i really really like this guy! and i kinda want to tell him. but how will this affect our awesome friendship?? and what if he doesnt feel the same way?

I'm dealing with the same situation...almost literally. My best advice for you is what I'm planning to do. Tell him how you feel and what you want in terms of a relationship. Also, make it clear to him that if he doesn't feel the same, you don't want to lose that friendship and make sure he knows that you won't feel weird still being friends.
