Depends on what brand, where you are, and what style of shoe. However, you can find decent deals at Nordstrom Rack on a wide array of shoes, though some will be over $40, but still discounted far from original cost. Otherwise, check any outlet centers near you. I find a lot of brand names at the Rockvale Factory Outlets in Lancaster PA and will be there myself next week. Also check DSW if there is one around you.

You canusually find them on sale in walmarts, or shoe city and other places.
Right after school is out is a good time and about half way between the school year is a good time. Children are so much bigger thses days feet and all their buying markets reflects adults as well as so many chldren 12 and up now require adult shoes and they are the main market for design or big name brand like niki.

Where I live there is a store that has a sale on a lot of name brand shoes but I live in toto land if you don't know who toto is it's the dog from the wizard of oz the most boring place on earth so I'm probablly not helping ok I have to get back to my boring life bye

Overstock.com has lots of name brand shoes - and tons of other great stuff - at 40 to 80% discount!
