Padres have a great pitching and a great defense! They are very strong up the middle; Piazza, Khalil Greene, Jesse Barfield, and Mike Cameron are all great players. Adrian Gonzales is on a terror right now and so is Mike Cameron. Barfield is a solid contact hitter. And of course you can't forget about Giles. I'm not claiming they're going to the World Series, because they're not but I won't be surprised if they get past the Cards. The Pads just have a solid team in general, no weak spots really. The best thing is the team has great young players that are playing very, very well. The Pads will go to the World Series in the upcoming years.

The Dodgers have lost 13 of 14 since the All Star break. That's a good job at making sure they get 5th place... I say Giants or Pads. (PS the giants are going to be good next year because they will have a lot of $$ to spend in the offseason)
