what about them? I think they're friggin' awesome... They're uber cute, have false-heads (knobby things) on their neck to fool predators, and they use capillary action on their skin to channel water into their mouths... And they're Australian... everything cool is Australian... Plus they're cute!

Moloch horridus
A really neat thorny/horny lizard native to some dry areas of Australia.
Mainly eats ants and termites similar to the US's horned lizards. Due to their diet, care & protected status, neither the thorny devil nor horned lizards make good pets.

But they are really neat lizards, aren't they?
