For concealers, powders, and mascara I love Cover Girl. I adore Revlon lipsticks particularly their colorstay line. Jane is great for eyeshadow (and great as a liner if applied wet!) Here's a great money saving trick...use your lip color on your cheeks too. As the shades match perfectly, it gives you a well coordinated look. All of the brands I use are high quality drugstore variety makeup. You should try this book too "Don't Go to the Cosmetic Counter without Me." Or try the author's website: www.cosmeticcop.com

There are so many choices out there now. First I suggest spending money on a good foundation ( like MAC, NARS, CHRISTIAN DIOR) anything else you can be a little cheap. Start by going to your local drug store. Loreal has a new hip line more bold & fun colors. Also, they have really nice shimmer glosses. As a teen I didnt have a lot of cash to spend on make-up I would by a bunch of lip pencils(wet & wild) in every color and a translucent lip gloss or vaseline to put over the pencil so I have a variety of colors. Of course the best masacara in the world is Maybeline you can't go wrong. It's cool to mix and match with high end products and low end to fit your budget.. As far as bronzes I recommend Revlon. Last but not least if you visit a makeup counter ask for samples , some counters will give you some even if you didn't purchase anything. Good Luck<:o)
Here are so cool sites to check out.

If you have to go cheap, try Rimmel at Wal-mart. It's not bad and it's cheap. Wet-N-Wild lipstick is cheap and stays put forever. CoverGirl lipgloss and the LashExact Mascara look fantastic.
BUT...
If you save up some money Beauticontrol is the best I've ever tried. The Wet/Dry foundation is awesome. It's light weight, easy to apply, goes on matte, stays put (won't find it on your friends clothes after a hug), and won't break you out. A compact costs $21 but it lasts four to five months. It's for combo to oily skin. If your skin is super dry, then try the creme to powder or liquid. REally great stuff.
I offer rebates of 25% for on-line orders.

I also have a layaway program if you are in my area. Go to the webpage and look under "Make a Life Changing Escape" to find how you can contact me directly.

Dude do no longer swatch drugstore foundations on the shop!! FRIGGIN GROSS!! :/ i do no longer desire to purchase opened makeup when I do purchase it. besides, sorry, that aggravated me. I hate whilst people try this. people go contaminate new products and oftentimes no longer purchase it. have you ever seen attempting new skin care products extremely than new makeup? Or a minimum of shop the makeup minimum? (concealer, etc.) that ought to help plenty in case you artwork out what works for you. Neutrogena has a visibly outstanding face wash this is super.

Check out the side aisles in the department store make up sections where they usually have their sales and clearances on the good makeup.

If you are broke, I would suggest you go to Target, look through their makeup sections, and find Almay products. They aren't "top of the line" nor "bottom scraps".
Good luck ~ Elle

Sometimes, Avon representatives have free samples and surplus merchandise for 50% off. Not a bad place to start and I hope you luck out.
