What are the friend code things on the Nintendo DS? Do you have to buy them or are they free?

Buy them? Lol, they each DS has there own specific friend code intended for online play. To have friends u need to type in there friend code.

Y'know, I think you just need a friend with a DS.
I have one too.... but no friends with them so I honestly couldn't say for sure. That'd be my guess anyway.

Yeah, you just need someone to use it with. U dont have to buy anything
