Those that say Clinton was the worst President are delusional. Opponents will say, "He lied to Congress." Well....duh! Congress is the biggest body of liars in the world! They lie to the American public all the time, so why should they be so offended when someone lies to them?
Then the Clinton-bashers will say, "He had oral sex with an intern in the Oval Office!" Well, that's despicable, I'll agree; but all it shows is that Clinton is human and has weaknesses like the rest of us. I'd wager that more than 75% of Congressmen have participated in sexual indiscretions in their offices. While Clinton desecrated the sanctity of the Oval Office, what he did was not illegal, just like no other cheating, adulterous members of Congress did anything illegal when they had sex with their interns or their secretaries.
Bush, on the other hand, has committed terrible atrocities that fly in complete defiance of our U.S. Constitution (in fact, a well-respected Republican senator just announced the other day that he will introduce a bill to SUE George Bush for signing documents that violate the Constitution!).
Bush should not only be tried for high treason for reprehensible, unforgivable acts against the American people, he also should be tried in an international tribunal for crimes against all of humanity. He has been responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people for no justifiable reason.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released today shows that only 12% of Americans believe Bush is on the "right track" - a pathetic lack of confidence in a sitting President.
Bush has lied to the American people, leaked information to the press when it conveniently fit his agenda, then tried to censure the NY Times when a story was published which Bush wanted to keep secret. No President should think he is above the laws of our Constitution by trying to manipulate and censure the Fourth Estate; freedom of the press is one of our most cherished - and most important - freedoms.
Bush has turned America into a police state where citizens are presumed guilty until proven innocent. He has tortured 'detainees' in direct violation of the Geneva Convention, then looked the other way when those prisoners were physically, psychologically, emotionally, verbally and sexually abused.
He has single-handedly ruined America's reputation as a world leader and global peacekeeper. Now, smaller nations believe they must develop nuclear weapons of mass destruction as a defense against the world's new 'evil empire - "bully Bush" and the United States of America.
Bush will go down in history as the worst President (to date). The only thing worse would be that gullible Americans elect Hilary Clinton in 2208! -RKO-

The point wasn't that he cheated- some huge percentage of American presidents have had an affair. The point was that he lied to the American public. If he would lie about cheating on his wife, what was to say he hadn't been lying to the people for the rest of his term? The people need to be able to trust their president, and once they catch him in a lie the trust is gone. Suddenly every judgement call he's made is called into question.
Technically, our worst president was probably James Buchanan (who was also probably gay, just for trivia's sake, and I'm fairly certain he had a 'friend' who stayed over in the Lincoln bedroom quite often). It wasn't Bush- Clinton's economic team predicted the current recessive trends way before the 2000 election. They said it was basically inevitable, no matter who won. Spin doctors will tell you that the Bush admin. is trying to blast Clinton to improve its image, but that's not technically true either- the opinion of former President Clinton was the same before Bush ever entered the equation, and besides- Clinton and Bush Sr. are good buddies now.
It's all about the lie though- FDR was one of our greatest presidents, and everybody knew he had a mistress. Heck, everybody knew Eleanor had a mistress! The lying was what pretty much ruined Bill's presidency.

The head law enforcement officer of the USA(President) committed perjury in court, under oath.
Lied about the lie to The People.
NAFTA
CAFTA
He let Osama Bin Laden go free. Bin Laden was captured in Chad and was ready to be extradited to the USA when Clinton refused to sign the Order.
Iran's and N. Korea's nuke programs were started with the blessing of Clinton.
Hamas and Hezbollah were allowed to continue to gain money and influence with Clinton's blessing.
Only Jimmy Carter has done more damage to the USA.

the above post summed it up nicely.
Depsite one terrorist attack after another against Americans, both at home and abroad, Clinton did absolutely nothing to fight back. No wonder terrorists all over the world viewed the U.S. as weak.
The World Trade Center was bombed by bin Laden in 1993 (!). Clinton's response...nothing.
He never even did so much as to viist the site of the attack!
The question is, what DID he do for the U.S? Defending it sure wasn't one of them, and that's actually his primary job as President.
He was more interested in helping China and North Korea develop their nuclear and missile capabilties.
Clinton's greatest weakness (other than chicks) was his complete indecisivness when confronted with a problem like terror. He was paralyzed by indecisivness, that's why HE never was able to get bin Laden even though bin Laden attacked the US (via the first WTC bombing) during Clinton's FIRST year in office.

The repuke's in general were jealous to see a government run in an efficient manner. If you remember what started out as an investigation of a business deal many years before was turned into a personal vendetta against Bill Clinton. Facts are he left this country in a better financial state and it didn't take Bush long to end the prosperity.

I love when People give Slick Willy credit for the economy. The dot.com/tech revolution had nothing to do with it.
Clinton lied to me as an American Citizen. He lied to a federal grand jusry ( I could care less about what).
Was he the worst, probably not. Did I respect him? no
He did do a lot of good.
BUT BUT BUT he did not have us lift one finger to stop OVER 600,000 deaths in Rwanda when the situation had been taken care of by a couple hundred of mercenaries before the UN forced them out. How come nobody cared? I know, the Democrats don't care about Black people.

HE DID NOTHING!! Osamas first terrorist attempt on the Twin Towers, was in 1993.... The death toll was under 10 at that time. Did Bill do anything about it??? Nooooooooo....
Shortly after that, an American Embassy in Africa was bombed, killing many.. Did Bill do anything about it?? Nooooooooo...... Shortly after that, one of our Naval ships (The USS COLE) were approached and a huge hole was put through it, killing many of our Navy men, did Bill do anything about it?? Noooooooooo....
ALL of these terrorist attempts were under Bills Presidency term...... And he just let them get away with it, had he done his job the way a President was suppose to, we may still have the Towers here in NY today... (Everything is ALL completely researchable to prove....)
So now, you go ahead and answer your own question.

no i would say that he was one of our better presidents. President Bush is our worst President. when clinton was in office, the economy was stable, gas prices were down, he was being peaceful toward other countries, we werent in an unnecessary war. Now gas is sky high, our economy is on the verge of collapsing, we are in a war that our President wanted just to please his daddy, and every one hates us. So what has Bush done for us again?

I didn't care for the man personally but in all fairness he was a pretty good president. Why do you think his approval ratings were still in the 60s when he left office.
In my lifetime there have really been only two (Ford doesn't count) poor presidents: Carter and George senior.
