Jews were integral part of all Muslim sultanate/governments from Spain to India for hundreds of years. Actually there are strong signs of there presence every where in Muslim world from architecture to literature. It's only recently that world politics, cold war, formation of state of Israel by force in Palestine that we see all this Arab Jewish hatred. Jews used to seek refuge in Muslim land from christian persecution, a fact. Jewish heritage where its today was developed all during Muslim protection of them from Christians. You still see Arabic literature and culture has become an integral part of to days Jewish culture. If it wasn't for Israel, Jews are treated with more respect in a Muslim life than in Christian's. Actually Muslim pray and bless the descendants of Abraham including Jews in their 5 daily prayers

I am aware of this, but again I'm Muslim. It saddens me when people say Muslims and Jews never got along, their rivals, it's been like this thousands of years, ...etc.

It's not true. We have a Jewish population in my country and we get along fine. They are against the creation of the state of Israel and say they will never go there as it's illegal state and they shouldn't be having a state in the first place.

Because Jews and Muslims used to be the same religion......just different sects. Both are descendants of Abraham.... just different sons. It is written in the Bible that Shiites came from Abrahams illegitimate son....(they converted to Islam many many years down the road)....most modern day Christians just don't put 2 and 2 together
