I feel the same way at 45 years old, and have for many years. I have learned that it can get much worse if I dont take really good care of myself. That means daily vitamins, exercise, and some supplemental iron too, not to mention eating well. I am not anemic or anything my blood work is good, it is however common in a lot of people. The bad news is , is that it complicates with age. Unless there is a direct cause that your feeling this way, which could be possible corrected by your doctor with a check up, then expect it to just be a part of the aging process, as is the case with me. Mens harmonal levels decrease just as womens do, however you will find that most physicians, will not want to prescribe hormones for men, but they do so willingly for women...
Good Luck !!!

a huge variety of things could be causing it. Simple exhaustion doesn't point to just one thing.
There are a few things that the Dr would just have to run a simple blood test to see if they could be causing the problem (thyroid being low is the most common that comes to mind). So i suggest a Dr appt as soon as you can go in and let the Dr run the tests to figure out what is wrong and how to treat it. If it is thyroid then they treat low thyroid by you taking a pill to replace the horomone. You'd need blood work run to make sure that the dose is correct for you, but it's pretty simple to treat.

Sounds like hypothyroidism. It could be anemia as well... Or something like Mono. I would go in to the doc and get basic blood tests to find out what is going on.

how is your iron intake..are you anemic? depressed? do you get at least 8 hours of sleep?
do you drink coffee, tea or any cafeinated beverage?
start exercising..walk or do something..that will lift you spirits..stay with it for 2 weeks..regularly..and see how you feel...
you might also want to consult your doc...it could be related to your thyroid....
good luck!
