After some Palestian terrorists nabbed an Israeli soldier, Hezbollah, a Lebanese terrorist group nabbed 2 themselves, after killing several others. Israel has gone over the top in their response, incredibly unjustifiably. They've attacked the Lebanese army, which is not affliated with Hezbollah and they've killed more than 300 civilians, including foreign visitors. Israel claims that Syria is involved, which seems a bit unlikely, though possible. Syria may be providing funds and arms, but that is about it. Hezbollah has put up quite a fight, losing about half as many soldiers as Israel has. The trouble in the region is that too many civilians are dying and the one country with the weight to stop this conflict (US) is sitting on its hands and watching.

Cease fires and talks over the last 20 years is why hezbollah is as powerful as they are. As for people dying, they have been dying there for centuries. It's just now good for ratings being it's an election year with democrats out of power.

You will have to do a little research and see why Israel and lebanon are fighting. It's rather long. Suffice to say, if Israel was allowed to finish the job back in 96, we wouldn't be dealing with it now.

Terrorists that are operating in Lebanon attacked and kidnapped soldiers in Israel -- Israel demanded they be returned or suffer. They didn't, now they are suffering. Iran orchestrated the attacks in order to defer world focus away from their nuclear offense program (they are building nuclear weapons that will be used against Israel and the west). Syria has armed the terrorists with missiles (built in Syria) and arms. The US will have to get involved. Iran is being run by a madman who has openly stated he welcomes world war III. If he gets the bomb, millions will die. A cease-fire is unacceptable -- they must be delt with in order to allow the decent people that live in the region (ALL people) a chance at life and happiness, not bombs strapped to twelve year old girls or death by radiation.
P.S. the UN people that were killed were there for three years and I doubt Israel gives one good damn what the UN says or reports.

Near as I can figure out...Hezbollah is another terrorist group that fronts for Iran and Syria. If you look at a map Israel has just a little tiny piece of land compared to most of the rest of the countries there. Israel would just live in peace if left alone but groups like Hezbollah have sworn to destroy them in any and all ways possible.Just like they have sworn to kill all of us evil westerners. A cease fire again when agreed to by Hezbollah just means "time out" we need some more ammo. They are a 6th century people with a 6th century mindset and now they have 21 century weapons. War is hell no one likes it but Israel needs to just blow them off the face of the earth or they will do it to them. And the corrupt piece of shyt U.N. needs to just shut up and leave them alone. Hezbollah Iran Syria just laugh at them anyway and have more friends at the U.N. then Israel anyway. I hope we don't have to get involved except for humanity aid. But if we do we do. It's coming to a head soon and it should have been taken care of years ago. But we are all too politically correct these days. Terrorists have been getting away with killing Innocent people for years. It's time to send them all to Allah.

Hezbolah is 'political' (made to extinguish jews) an organization based in lebanon. Not all lebonese are hezbolah, butmembers of hezbolah do sit on the cabinet of the gov't.

Hezbolah terrorists, crossed the border into Israel, kidnapped 2 soldiers (killed some others) and then immediately tried to trade them for 1000 prisoners in Israeli's jails.

Israel is bombing areas where hezbolah is stationed. Unfortunately they are scattered throughout the country of lebanon, and they hide in civilian areas while they launch rockets into Israel. Israel is destroying the hezbolah targets, and there have been many civilian casualties, due to them being used as human sheilds.

Syria, and Iran aid Hezbolah (which, as I said is only around to kill jews), by giving them weapons, and money, so Israel considers them responsible as well.

Hezbolah refuses to return the kidnapped soldiers, therefore there is no cease fire.

1. hezbollah and hamas are terrorists, there is no western rational that works.
2. Syria and Iran are involved and they are overseen by Russia and China.
3. The IS involved, we want Israel to take care of their problem.
4. Cease fires have been called and have NEVER worked they only give the terrorists time to retool and re-arm.
Its sheer naivete to think that simply talking to an irrational individual will ever bring peace.

You heard about the kidnapping of the Israeli soldiers. Well the missles are for that reason cause those soldiers were murdered. They say Syria is involved because most terrorists are from there. I sure hope to god that we don't get involved. Because we already have something that we are working on right now. Cause they are to caught up in getting the worlds attention for once.

Israel is a created country. Land was seized from Lebanon to accommodate Israel. Lebanon is not the only country that land was taken from. That is one of the many reasons that Israel has so many enemies.

there have been hundreds of cease fires. they don't work. Hezbollah is terrorists and want to destroy Israel. Israel wants to exist so they fight so they can be free of terrorists. Syria and Iran help Hezbollah with weapons because Syria and Iran don't want Israel to exist either.
