It's an existentialist question. How do you know you arent just part of someone's dream? Prove to me that you exist.

Note: I may or may not exist.

I don't believe you can dream in this detail - the stuff on the corkboard on my left, the empty pop can on my right, the bug circling the lamp, the cat on the floor next to me, and 1000 other details that I can take in here.

And if somehow you DO have the ability to imagine that much detail for me to notice in your dream, then you have enough mental ability to know the answer to this question already.

Hey you can't escape the void. I won't say I can prove I exist, my reality is the only reality that matters though. That is the way to put it.

It doesn't really matter as long as I perceive myself and my surroundings to be real.

I feel real, you may be for real - so that's enough proof for me,

If I'm just a dream - then maybe they'll never wake up and I can go on forever.

There no way to prove it, K B. It's the question of whether you believe it or not.

some things you just have to accept, my friend, not because you can prove them but because asking the question doesn't really get you anywhere new.

the surest way to bring doubt about the existence of one's sanity is to instist that it exists.
