First of all this is flawed, because there will never be a government gun confiscation program. And the Marines or any other branch of service will never have to deal with this scenario. But let's just say there was one. You could also ask the same question to police officers that were asked to do the same, and you would probably get similar results.
I spent 30 years in the Marines and questions like this just make me laugh. Semper Fi. God Bless America, and to all of you serving this great country, Thank you and come home safe.

I don't own a gun but I suppose I'd give it up if I were asked to by my government. There is a lot to consider. What circumstance I'm in.
