I am 14 and havent started my period and am flat. I get made fun of at school because of this. what do i do? my doctor said i should have gotten it like half a year ago.

You need to talk to a gyn. Girls mature at different speeds. Just because you are 14 and haven't had a period and aren't blossoming doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with you. My neighbor's daughter didn't start until she was almost 17. She is also small bosomed. However, she was head cheerleader and homecoming queen her senior year.
So, it doesn't matter when these things happen. What matters is for you to hold your head up and be self-confident. Ignore those rude young women.
The ones who are chesty are only fooling themselves. The boys may flock around but it's because of the "boobs" not because they like the girls. Wait and see who the boys get involved with when they become 16 or 17. It won't be those girls.

Your doctor is wrong. There is no set age when a girl should start their period. I was 18. Others get theirs as early as 10. If you haven't started by 16, your mom should take you to a GYN, but right now, there's nothing to worry about. When my sister was 14, she was still wearing kids size clothes. She started hers at 16. You're fine. As for kids teasing you, they will one way or the other believe me. Just give it a couple years.

sometimes things dont come fast in the 6th grade i got made fun of cuz i was flat chested and all my friends had big boobs im in the 8th grade now and my boobs have grown sometimes things come late for some girls my friends mom didnt start her period untill she was 16 so wait ur period isnt that great like 5 days of cramps its not fun just wait u will get bigger so dont worry the docter u went to is a joke most docters should tell girls like u that it will come when the time is right not when it has to cuz it never comes when it has to it comes when it wants to and about the people who make fun of u tell them off and if its ur friends find better friends my friends teased me and i hung out with another girl and she didnt care how i looked cuz true friends shouldnt make fun of their friends

Everyone do not develop as quickly as others. I was a A-cup until I turned 25 then nature decided to give me a D-cup with no surgery. To be honest I miss not wearing a bra in the summer. Don't pay your classmate no mind, I know its hard but have you ever look at the girls that have chest; how the boys look at them. You don't want that negative attention at your age guys are only trying to get a feel or get in their pants. So, if a guy approach at least you know he like you for your mind and not what you haven't develop. God made you special and it just not your time to grow you.

everyone is different. we all go through puberty at different times but we're all the same by 19 or so...
dont worry about being flat right now. anyone making fun of you now is only doing it because they are insecure about themselves. chances are you'll look better than them at age 21. life has a funny way of working like that...

Don't trip out about it girl. I got my period when I was 12 but my sister got hers when she was 14 or 15. Don't worry, have hope. You'll go through puberty, there's nothing wrong with you! Hope I was a help to you.

u r so lucky 2 not have ur period. it hurts really bad. when u get it u will wish u dont got it. as for ur flatness, dont worry about it. my friend was like that and shes growin now. she's almost 16. i heard 1 way to get ur boobs big was 2 eat lots of chicken...but i dont know if it works or not. probably not.

i know its a tough time right now teen age yrs can suck but it gets better and dont worry about it! u'll hate it when it starts lol so enjoy and u will get ur chest, dont worry! who knows u might end up bigger than alot of other girls, ur prolly thin and athletic, also u are still growin when u hit puberty u only grow for like another 2 yrs, so ur body is still growin and when its ready its ready! u might end up 6'0 tall and the next Cindy Crawford!

Things happen at different times for different people. If your doctor says there's no medical problem then you've nothing to worry about. You're just going to be a late bloomer.

I think it's totally normal, wait untill you're 15 and see. I got mine really early and they made fun of me because of that, they make fun of everything. So don't worry, it's even better for you so that you'll grow faster and get taller before you get your period.
