My hubby's name is on the birth certificate, we want to see the kid. But she is feeding us alot of lines. We just now found her after all these years, and we deserve to see the boy. Will the court even let us see him now?

Most likely he can not be legally adopted without you knowing, because legal papers have to be filed. There may be loopholes, though, so you should contact an attorney to be sure.

If he is the father, then he can go to court to demand visitation. Be prepared to also begin paying child support, and very possibly child support going back for the past 7 years as well, depending on the circumstances (esp. whether there is/was an existing support order).

To begin with visitation may be ordered on a supervised basis, because of the length of time since he saw his son.

Your best bet in all of this is really to consult a lawyer. Many will do an initial consultation for free or a small fee (like $25).
