sounds like some kids from religious families, youll get nowhere talking with them. Best idea - babysit them, get your money, when a new harry potter book is released spend your hard earned babysitting cash buying the new book ;-)

ok i know for sure harry potter is stupid (that's what makes the book so addictive watching the stupid boy commit sucideover a series of 7 books) but how is he evil?

different people have different literature taste. for example you seem quite a harry potter fan but i don't really care for that book. they'll find some good books they will enjoy when they grow older. meanwhile just quit talking about HP and introduce them to some other books.

Dont worry about it they are entitled to their opinion. You cant shove things down their throat. If they feel that way they have developed thier opinion based upon something they either saw or heard. I have never watched it and what I have saw I think is stupid and some people swear it is a good movie, but I am not into those kind of movies.

Its major situation is that it is tied with Magic and Sorcery, regardless of it being fantasy. Judeo-Christianity promotes that as incorrect regardless of it is intentions. that is a demanding concern because even even if Harry Potter is 'harmless' (in theory) it promotes the exact same element that Christianity strongly opposes. i ought to assert that when you commence transforming into infatuated to the point were you gown up and commence reenacting spells you (as a Christian) are placing your self up for threat in a Christian experience. do not forget that even if its merely yet another Sci-fi CGI pumped action picture with Magic factors Christians ought to be careful at the same time as drawing near problems with that nature. back, its a demanding concern considering that virtually each and every thing thrown at youthful youthful little ones has some variety of Magic-fantasy ingredient to it and all of it can't be prevented. Your no longer a devil worshiper in a right away way yet to remember that Christianity factors the finger (to have the ability to communicate) at a source of Evil that promotes problems with that nature. merely be careful and modest considering that your are a Christian.

My daughter's Jehovah's Witness friend was not allowed to go to any of the Harry Potter movies, but she could go to see Lord of the Rings.
It is too bad that this type of censorship still continues - which is what the parents are doing to your young charges.

maybe their parents are hardcore christians who are part of the wierd ones who think harry potter is evil and satanic because of magic and such. Maybe you can bring it up with the parents and see if thats it. If it is theres nothing you can do, but if its just some random reason let them watch some of the movies i suppose. i cant see how someone thinks harry potter is boring!

Sorry, but in my book I always bleieve parents are right. Any parents these days needs to be able to raise their children according to their own morals and beliefs.
Contact them after they are adults about Harry Potter.

Literature is an area where different people read different books. Thanks to the Internet, you can talk with people who share your persuasion all over the world.
A babysitter is to take care of children and keep them safe, not influence their minds or undermine their parents. Harry Potter is stupid and evil.

That is quite all right if they don't like Harry Potter.
Ask them what they would like to read and this
gives you an opportunity to try something different
after all your open to suggestions.
May be when they are older they will read it.
