I've heard that not only is Cap'n Jack returning but his father will be making an appearance played by Keith Richards no less.

Hmm. Good offerings. The Man With No Man (Clint Eastwood) - Sergio Leone's Dollars trilogy Mad Max (Mel Gibson) - The Mad Max trilogy "Snake" Plisken (Kurt Russell) - Escape from New York and Escape from L.A. Wez, from The Road Warrior, will get an honorable point out. So does The Terminator.

Yes , he must play in 3rd movie . Because in 2nd movie last minute , Olando Bloom and his wife comfirm to help Johnny Depp back to the world so the ladies give they the 1st movie captain to help they .

If he doesn't die directly in the movie, he isn't dead.
If anyone stayed till the end of the credits in the second movie, they know what I mean when I say that if his head isn't completely severed from his body and he doesn't spout blood all over the place, he's probably coming back... I mean, who would have expected that apple-loving dude (<- hint) from the first PotC to come back?

He's obviously able to be saved. They have only filmed about forty percent of the 3rd film. Filming resumes in August....I'm a little scared that I know that much about it.....I gotta get a life.

I saw the movie, but I would be pretty ticked off if I hadn't gotten around to it yet and someone SPOILED IT FOR ME IN THE QUESTION.
