On January 6, 2006, WWE announced that Juventud had been released from the company. His final match aired that evening on SmackDown!, a Cruiserweight title rematch against Kid Kash which Juventud lost. During this match, Juventud would use many high flying moves - despite WWE telling its cruiserweights to tone down those aerial moves - and the 450 splash, a move WWE outright banned due to an earlier match Juventud had when he botched the move and ended up fracturing bones in Paul London's face. Because of these extra aerial moves, the match would end up going long over its assigned time. It is also said that Juventud tried to force a win for himself, making him champion. There is speculation that going long during the match cost Juventud his job; it was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back after a lengthy record of behavior problems during his short tenure with the company.

Because he developed a larger than life ego. Most of the other wrestlers were sick of him. He was doing such notorious things that even the other 2 members of Mexicools (Spuer Crazy and Psychosis) stayed away from him in fear of getting fired cuz of Juventud's notorious antics. It is reported that he always refered himself as the third person, behaved like he was of the same status as guys like Rock or Austin, constantly believed that he was much better and superior than new comers like Cena, Batista, etc. Vince McMahon therefore finally decided to fire him.

Actually the release was due to back stage behavior/travel issues. Had to due with bringing extra persons on the road with him, to his treatment of the divas. In addition, as another pointed out here, he did try to alter a set match result to indict the company was mistaken about his popularity, which was the final act, since he was let go 24 hrs later

He did the 450 splash which was banned nowadays because of a miscue with paul london. it was a great move that the wwe banned... that is why wwe is getting more lame, because there is less and less moves... and when a wrestler is doing a new move they call it unorthodox... like with finlay for example... he's a great technical wrestler for god's sake! that is why i also enjoy watching tna, they have great x-division there, a lot of great cruiserweights, unlike rey mysterio, who's wrestling moves are all the same for, like, forever now...
