do girls look better with thick makeup or the natural look?

it's easy to pile on makeup, but i don't want to look like a clown. does it look better to have bright blue eyes and pink cheeks or to use very little to no makeup and allow some flaws to show? i'm looking more for guys' opinions, but girls are welcome to answer as well

I'll tell you this. Use makeup in moderation, and use it correctly. It looks really bad "caked" on especially when you can see the line of foundation along the jaw. to check yours, go out into daylight because often it is hard to tell in a bathroom mirror.

I like to focus more on eyemakeup. Mascara, a bit of eyeliner and some light shadow do wonders on a girl. (and maybe some nice lipgloss...) If you have some blemishes don't be afraid to leave them. Makeup only makes them worse anyway.

Heavy makeup looks trashy. Let the natural show through. Light around the eyes and just a touch of color on the cheeks.

Well, let me give you a guy's point of view. I think makeup should be so natural that guys have a hard time telling if you even are wearing makeup. A little goes a long way. Shoot for "natural beauty" and fool guys into thinking you always look that way. :)

Not thick! just right, yes I know that it IS hard to acheive that look, but you want just enough mascara to separate and elongate your lashes, just enough color or sparkle on you lips, and just the right tone of pink on the apples of your cheeks. MORE IS MORE!!! Don't overapply, try to use all makeup in moderation. For example, you don't want to use too much mascara, but you will get clumps. Not too much sparkly gloss at the risk of potentially blinding someone and NOT too much blush because you will look like a barbie doll (unless that is the look you're going for)...

If you want to wear makeup natural tones are the best. Makeup is supposed to enhance your features not make you look like you actually have makeup on.

Well I'm the first guy here to answer girls look lovely with VERY THICK makeup though I do like to see what she looks like underneath it! I especially like foundation applied extremely thick and lots of powder. THICK Panda eyeliner.Tons of mascara or false eyelashes with thick mascara. Painted on eyebrows as thin as possible. Bright eyeshadow. Blusher so you look like PIKACHU! Lots of lipstick and gorgeously glossy lipgloss.

Natural everything is best. All of that make-up will eventually start skin problems. Keep it as natural as possible. Most men hate all that make-up. I call it the keepin it real face. When you steer clear of a lot of make-up men will see your true beauty and won't be surprised when they see you make-up-less. I have a cousin that wore sooo much make-up when she got married her newlywed husband was shocked when he saw her w/o the make-up. He was "not pleased" and that amongst other things caused them a quick trip to divorce court. He said he felt mislead to think she looked one way and he found out sh looked another.

Natural is better and better for your skin. Guys tell me all the time about going to bed with one woman and waking up to another. That only turns the woman into a disapointment.

In my opinion I think girls who wear little to no makeup is much more attractive than a girl who cakes on their base and uses too much lipstick or mascara.
