It takes a lot of practice. Start by doing one with your back to a wall. Put you hands on the ground just slightly wider than your shoulders and about 6 inches away from the wall, then kick your legs up so your feet land on the wall. Once you have your balance like that straighten your legs out so your body is straight. focus your eyes on your hands and keep all you muscles as tight as you can. After you are good at getting into the proper position against the wall then practice doing them away from the wall. Its hard do find your center of balance at first but once you have figured out that it gets much easier. Just remember to be stiff like a board not loose like a noodle. Good luck!

The best way to learn how to do them is by a wall where you can't hurt yourself or break something (like a window or wall hangings). Put your arms up over your head, keep your legs straight with your dominant foot behind the other one about pace length apart. With a swift movement bend over so your hands fall within a footlength from the wall, keeping your legs straight still, kick the one farther back up towards the wall and then bring up the other one. Try to go hard enough that your heels touch the wall when you go up. You can use the wall to help you learn how to balance. Try to do it to a count of 1, 2, 3
1. bend
2. leg up
3. leg up
When you get the movements down and can stay off of the wall then you should be able to do them out in the open with no problem.

you mean on a skateboard. Are you really that good? you need to type skateboarding.com and it'll lead you to transworld skateboard. go on tricktips and find the trick. that may take a while. seriously, can you even do a manual for more than 10 seconds 6/10 times tried? pratice on the ground first I guess. and I've tried it, you gotta jump to do it. If you actualy feel like youre going to try it, make sure you know your limits.

FIRST YOU NEED GOOD BALANCE THEN VERY GOOD ABDOMEN MUSCLES. YOU PUT YOUR HAND ON THE FLOOR PARALLEL TO YOUR SHOULDERS YOU BRING YOUR SELF TO AN UPSIDE DOWN "V" SHAPE AND YOU KICK YOUR LEGS UP. AFTER FEW TIMES YOU WILL KNOW HOW HARD YOU NEED TO KICK TO BE ABLE TO BRING YOUR SELF TO A STAND AND THEN THE BALANCE COMES IN. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.
