Real love is when you can accept that person as he/she is. Realizing that he/she is an individual, raised differently from you, capable of teaching you, sharing with you ,and being honest to you.You wouldn't try to change them but will encourage their growth and when you look at every ounce of them you notice beauty in all of who they are.You can forgive them for little things, and willing to work on the bigger ones-together.It's when you like them like a true friend, trying to keep them from harm..You can relate to each other's thoughts, opinions and personality. It's when you can share and not expect back. It's when they stay constantly on your mind. It's when you have support for them regardless to what they are trying to do,as long as it's not gonna hurt them.Once you realize that they are with you to share your presence and not there to make you happy, because you have to have you together, being confident within yourself and happy with yourself first in order to give love and receive it back. Real love is not obsession or a fantasy but is reality that the two people in that love sees only each other with perfection when others are saying they are not. There is one word you can merit your love....It cannot ever be doubt.

It feels like every breath you take has his/her name on it. It feels like you can't wait to talk to them or see them or hear thier voice or look into thier eyes. It feels like your heart does somersaults when they are near you. Love makes your heart beat faster and stronger. I am in love with Dr. K

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......

(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

love isn't a feeling... love is an action... loving someone means that you choose to honor, respect, and cherish that person and put his/her needs before your own...
