Is anyone a patient care associate aka nurses aides in a hospital setting?

I am wondering where you work and what wages you are paid just out of curiosity. I have my associates in Science, Majoring in Medical Assisting but enjoy the adrenaline rush from working at a hospital. I think we are severely underpaid for such a physically demanding job. You too?

I am an ED tech and work in an observation unit (sub-unit of the ER for rule out AMI and in patient overflow) I draw blood, do EKG's prep pts. for cardiac stress test, run the treadmil equiptment during the test, and do CNA stuff like vitals and finger sticks and stuff. We have had lots of MA's come work for us and they all seem to like it a lot. The pay is better than what they earn in a Dr's office. e mial me and I'll tell you my salary info if you are interested.
