What password, if it is a linksys router, it will be admin
if it is your email password or yahoo password, and still work as you are working now. You can get a software to recover it, it is called password reveal

if u mean for your computer, and if it's a dell, then there is a special password jumper in the computer u can remove to reset password, check manual for more details
