I already am, what are you waiting for? Higher taxes? Bigger government? Hello, by the time you rebel it will be way to late!

France is not a socialist country - it may be more so than the
US, but not hardly anywhere near, say, the communist
countries of last century.
Frankly, I think the world is always going to be "toying"
with a balance between governmental and personal
responsiblities for income, medicine, food, etc.
I think the fact that the US doesn't have socialized medicine
is pretty backward. Consider that the big 3 car companies
in this country say that the single largest cost that they pay
is for private medical insurance - costs that company's in
other countries dilute across the tax base.
And of course, the fact that people cannot afford health care
in this country is amazingly backwards. Interestingly, right
after Katrina, huge numbers of people in the hurricane
belt saw doctors for the first time in decades because we
offered state-health care to handle Katrina related illness.
I'm not sure I'd want France's other policies, but I'd take
socialized medicine in a heartbeat.

You give the impression that France is a communist state, its not it just provides more state funded social security and healthcare than the USA in exchange for higher tax rates. But im guessin you dont give a damn what I or anybody else says on this subject because your probably one of these "Liberty Fries" France haters who insult the French at every oppurtunity because France didnt join the USA in invading Iraq, even though they have since been proven correct as no there were no WMD's.
BTW I'm not French im Irish

No, I would not rebel, in many ways this country needs to move more toward socialism for the good of the people. Socialized medicine would be a good start. Capitalism is the economics of greed and the money has shifted to the top and needs to be better distributed in order to keep from losing the bottom third of the country.

The only difference in us and France is that in America the masses are still kept happy by letting them "think" they vote in the leaders, so no, probably not. I havent rebelled here yet.

France is not a socialist country, you moron.
Why are you so damn stupid?
I am sick of people like you, speaking without knowing what the f*ck they are talking about. It is thanks to idiots like you that dictatorships exist, and that genocidal criminals like Kissinger or Pinochet are allowed to walk freely in the streets. Idiot.
The day will come in which your leaders will run out of people in the third world to exploit... and they will turn to you.
