I was wondering if two people can fit on a sportbike like this:

or is this for only one person. Would it say if it was designed for two?

The bike you are looking at has a cover over the passenger seat. When removed, two people can ride. You can also see the rearsets (passenger pegs ) in the photo.

Yes and no, not every sports bike. Most from the factory are setup for two, some with the passenger seat covered up under a plastic hatch. I believe the aprilia you are looking at is like this, but it really is not meant to be ridden mostly this way. The passenger seat is for an occassional ride to the corner burger joint with a buddy along for the ride.

No sportbike is meant for two people. They are meant for track racing. You need to look for a class of bike known as sport tourers. Aprilia makes several. Don't think a two seat sportbike will fit two people comfortably without major changes to the suspension, tire choice and seat choices.

yes it is designed for two..... the easiest way to tell if its made for two is to check for passanger pegs.....right below the tail, where the passanger would put his feet at... if it doesnt have that then its a one seater cause some bikes are two seaters and only have one seat, hence the other one is covered..

Why would anyone even want to ride a sport bike?
