1st off, don't listen to the guy that said take a QB in the 1st round. There is so much depth at QB, you can get a Jake Delhomme, Jake Plummer, Drew Bledsoe, or Trent Green in the 7th-9th rounds. Also, Carson Palmer was a 8th-10th round pick last year. Not a lot of stud RB's taken anywhere after the 6th round.
Question for you: are you in a 10 or 12 team league?
If you are in a 10 team league, I would be more prone to taking a stud WR with the 13th pick. At #8 (which is the pick you would have had in a 10 team league if you have the 13th pick in the 2nd rd), you should have gotten a pretty good RB. If someone like Ronnie Brown is there, JUMP ALL OVER IT. I expect him to be a top 8 RB by the end of the year. If not, I would look for these 4 players at #13 outside of RB: Peyton Manning, Steve Smith, Chad Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald. If these 4 are already gone, I would jump on another stud RB (unless Ronnie or Caddy are there). Matter-of-fact, you're better off with a RB.
If you are in a 12 team league, go after the 4 previously listed players. I would be more susceptible to taking a WR at 13 (wrap around pick) as you wont be getting another pick until #36. At least at that point, you will already have a very good RB and a stud WR.

It really depends on whose available and what your positions and scoring system is. Preferrably, I'd like to take two RB's in those slots. You can get great backs like Ronnie Brown/Carnell Williams back to back. Try and find these players available, and take the best. It's just a simple rankings list of the top few players.
1. Larry Johnson
2. Shaun Alexander
3. Ladainian Tomlinson
4. Tiki Barber
5. Clinton Portis
6. Steven Jackson
7. Lamont Jordan
8. Rudi Johnson
9. Ronnie Brown
10. Brian Westbrook
11. Carnell Williams
12. Edgerrin James
13. Willie Parker
14. Domanick Davis
15. Julius Jones
I'd stay away from 10 and 8, but the rest if available are extremely inviting for your first two picks IF you start 2 RB's. If you start only 1 RB, then take Chad Johnson first, Steve Smith Second, TO third, and Fitzgerald last if N/A. Get at least one solid RB though and try to stay away from a high pick on Peyton Manning, as there are many great QB's available later this year. Like Drew Bledsoe or even Michael vick and Matt Hasselbeck.
I don't see why you guys are so high on Peyton, the difference between him and a guy like Drew Bledsoe is about 3 points a week. Drew bledsoe. Target a guy like Hasselbeck and Vick. You get a safe route and a huge upside guy.

depends a lot on who your 6 keepers are. in a league with 6 keepers, most of the stud players should be gone from the board as keepers, so you're not missing much in the 2nd-5th rounds that isn't likely to still be available again in the 6th round, especially if you have the first 2 overall picks. basically 6 decent keepers plus the first 2 overall picks in the draft is probably 90% of the value in your team anyway, so as long as your keepers are solid, I'd stand pat and take the first 2 overall picks. often the difference between the first round and the second round is a big dropoff, so the value of pick #1 and pick #2 shouldn't be underestimated.

Depends who's available Im guessing Cadillac should be avalaible to pick as 1 of ur rbs and u might be able to get Ronnie Brown with the other if ur lucky. If dat was to happen or if 1 of the earlier projected rbs was to fall(R.Johnson,S.Jackson,or Edge) was to fall i would certaintly pick 1 of them with cadillac pending if they were avalable. If it doesnt work out that way pick the best available rb and instead of reaching for another 1 pick up a stud wr in Chad Johnson or Steve Smith

in most cases a rb will get you more points for your fantasy team not to mention u can get quality receiver in the 3 4 5 round after rounds 1 2 most of the premiere backs are gone. quarterbacks with names other then manning are also usually around in the later rounds so go with a horse get yourself 2 quality backs

If the draft has you picking last in the first and first in the second round, I would take a RB if C. Williams, R. Brown, or S. Jackson are there, otherwise take S. Smith or C. Johnson.

most likely another RB - depends who's available. If you're required to start 2 RB, you don't get another chance until #36-37 - good luck getting a serviceable back there.
Non-rb worth a pick at 13 could be Peyton Manning if he's available, maybe Chad Johnson, but I'd go back-to-back RB

In the leagues I play in WR's are vital. Points are acumulated for every reception, yards, touchdowns. Next would be rb's. You could always puick up decent qb's in rounds 5 or 6, no need to shoot for manning. many others are consistent. I would go RB, WR, WR, RB, WR QB then solidify your backups and pick kickers, defense last - they are all so close and do not waste picks on TE's

Go with a RB because the one's worth having won't be there the next go round. There aren't any super qb's except Peyton and Brady. There are a bunch that will be around who will score more or less the same.
